TrovaTrip is Hiring a Product Marketing Manager Near Portland, OR

It’s been an exciting couple of years for Trova — we’ve worked with Creators to book 1,500 trips and more than 21,000 Travelers. We raised a $15M Series A, were named to the Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies list, and have more than 150 employees. We’re a tech startup that is navigating hypergrowth, and we’re looking for an expert in all things communicating Product value and setting customers up for success.

Our team is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to build out the function at Trova, and to ensure we’re telling a cohesive (and compelling) story as we roll out new products, features, and improvements. This will be the first dedicated Product Marketing role, so bring your vision for how to create the best possible experience for our customers. This role will report directly to the Sr. Brand Marketing Director, and will be closely tied into the Product team.

What you’ll do as Trova’s Product Marketing Manager: 

As Trova's Product Marketing Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting and communicating the value of our platform (web and mobile) to both Creators and Travelers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to launch and promote features, drive user adoption internally and externally, and ensure our product meets the evolving needs of all 3 sides of our ‘marketplace’ (Hosts, Travelers, and Trip Operators).

  • Work at intersection of Product, Marketing, and Sales to build and measure cohesive roll-outs of new products, features, and improvements
  • Craft compelling product messaging and positioning that resonates with our target audience.
  • Collaborate with the Product and Marketing teams to launch and promote new features, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Partner on market research to understand user needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
  • Work closely with the Performance Marketing Lead and Brand Director to align product marketing efforts with Trova's values.
  • Develop go-to-market plans for new product launches, including positioning, messaging, and launch tactics.
  • Create and deliver product-related content, such as blog posts, webinars, and social media updates.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to equip them with the necessary product knowledge and tools.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in product marketing, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful product marketing strategies.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on crafting compelling narratives.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Familiarity with marketplace business models is a plus.
  • Results-driven and comfortable thriving in a fast-paced environment.
