TRL Systems, a family-owned leader in fire life safety and security, is searching for a passionate Security Systems Foreman to join our team!
In this leadership role, you'll be the go-to person for overseeing installations of security systems like CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection. You'll guide your team of technicians to ensure projects run smoothly, meet deadlines, and exceed client expectations.
Here's what you'll do:

• Project Mastermind: Interpret blueprints, devise efficient installation strategies, and keep projects on track.
• Technical Expertise: Program and troubleshoot CCTV, access control, and intrusion systems, ensuring flawless operation.
• Team Leader: Motivate and keep your on-site crew engaged, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Goal Setting & Management: Identify and communicate daily goals, ensuring everyone on the team understands project objectives.
• Personnel Issues Pro: Address job site personnel issues with diplomacy and effectiveness, maintaining a positive and productive team dynamic.
• Training & Development: Train new technicians and manage onboarding plans, fostering a strong learning culture within your team.
• Safety First: Prioritize safety by enforcing protocols and maintaining a hazard-free work environment.
• Compliance Champion: Conduct project evaluations, ensuring adherence to scope and notifying project managers of any necessary out-of-scope requests.
• Detailed Documentation: Create comprehensive project work plans, update CRM tickets, and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Tech-Savvy: Possess a strong working knowledge of leading security system brands like Axis, Hanwha, Lenel, Honeywell, AMAG, Avigilon, and Genetec.

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

• Extensive experience (5 years): Proven track record installing and servicing security systems.
• Leadership experience (4 years): Experience leading and motivating a team to achieve common goals.
• Education: High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Valid Driver's License: Valid California Driver's License and proof of auto insurance.
• Flexible Schedule: Must be available to work weekends, nights, split shifts, and rotating shifts (if needed).

We also conduct pre-employment drug screening in accordance with Federal Contractor regulations and background checks in accordance with State and local regulations.
Work Environment:

• Be prepared for diverse work locations including construction sites, commercial buildings, high-rises, and hospitals (with potential patient contact).
• The role may require working at heights and confined spaces.
• Physical demands include repetitive motions, lifting equipment (50 lbs), walking, driving, bending, stooping, and prolonged standing or sitting.
