We are seeking a skilled and experienced Foreman with experience in Drywall Finishing (Tape & Mud) to join our construction team. As a Foreman, you will play a crucial role in coordinating & performing the daily operations of construction projects on site. UBG regularly works on multi-million dollar projects. Foremen need to be capable of leading these projects successfully.

Duties:

• Supervise and manage construction crews, ensuring they adhere to project plans and timelines.
• Coordinate with Superintendent & Project Manager to allocate resources effectively.
• Monitor and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Read and interpret construction drawings.
• Conduct daily inspections of tools, equipment, and work areas as needed.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and general contractor as needed to ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting professional growth and development in the field.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process, and/or coordinate with field team and office for support as needed.

Skills:

• Able to read, speak, and understand English. (Spanish fluency is a plus)
• Proficiency in using construction management software. (Ex: Procore, Plexxis, Bluebeam)
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings. (Ex: Architectural & Structural plans)
• Ability to use tablets, computers, tools, and equipment as necessary to the role.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

If you are an experienced Foreman with at least 3-5 years of experience in Drywall Finishing, or have 8 years of field experience in Drywall Finishing, with track record of successful projects, we would love to hear from you.

This is a paid position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
