We are seeking a skilled and and experienced Lead Framer to join our construction team. As a Lead Framer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Foreman with coordinating & performing the daily operations of construction projects on site. UBG regularly works on multi-million dollar projects. Foremen need to be capable of leading these projects successfully.

Duties:

• Supervise and manage construction crews, ensuring they adhere to project plans and timelines.
• Monitor and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• May need to conduct daily inspections of tools, equipment, and work areas as needed.
• Collaborate with Foreman & Superintendent as needed to ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting professional growth and development in the field.
• Support Foreman with resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process, and/or coordinate with field team and office for support as needed.

Skills:

• Able to speak and understand English. (Spanish fluency is a plus)
• Ability to use tablets, computers, tools, and equipment as necessary to the role.
• Knowledge of means and methods of performing Steel Stud Framing, Drywall hanging, & Mud/Taping of gypsum boards.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

This is a paid position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
