We are a family-owned and operated company celebrating 42 years in business.As the Foreman for our Fire TI division you will be responsible for managing the installation of fire life safety systems within commercial properties. To succeed in this role, you will need to successfully manage project installations, identify activities and goals, handle all personnel issues, safety coordination, technician training, and project reporting.Essential Functions:Identify and implement strategies to achieve identified objectives; be diligent in meeting all communicated/defined deadlines.Monitor and update tickets/tasks/activities assigned in company CRM.Participate and manage the final inspection with the client.Conducts periodic on-site project evaluations to ensure compliance with the defined scope of work as well as TRL standards.Notify the Project Manager of any ‘Out of Scope’ work that needs to be performed or that is requested.Ensure that all project documentation is completed as needed; the project work plan reflects accurate status of work and a complete and well-written resolution is entered on all project tickets.Review and update T&M tickets assigned/worked by the onsite team; ensure time is entered correctly, products have been entered and billed accurately, ticket resolution is accurate and complete, and ticket status is updated timely for billing.Manage the onsite field crews to ensure the successful installation of project components.Interpret drawings and identify best methods for project installation.Train technicians on industry principles and standards to ensure the team understands all products installed within their department.Onboard new team members. Position Requirements:10 years in construction5 years installing fire systems 4 years in a leadership roleHigh school diploma (or equivalent)Valid California Driver's License, and proof of auto insurance.We also conduct pre-employment drug screening per Federal Contractor regulations and background checks following State and local regulations.Physical Demands & Work Environment:Ability to drive for 2 hours in a work shift/day, daily.Ability to drive, walk, bend, stoop, hear, and speak, daily.Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, under all temperature variations.Work environments may be construction sites, commercial buildings, and multi-tenant properties.Ascend/Descend and work at heights above 6ft and extreme heights, occasionallyMove/Transport/Install/Remove items weighing 50 pounds, dailyPushing/Pulling using upper extremities, dailyPosition self to work in confined spaces, occasionally
