Silverline Construction is Hiring a Masonry Foreman Near San Diego, CA

Silverline Construction is looking for qualified Masonry Foremen to join our team in the San Diego area to run CMU jobs in parking structures and multi-family apartment projects. Pay scale is top of the industry standard and includes a monthly vehicle allowance, gas card, health/dental insurance, 401K, paid vacation time and holidays.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a foreman on large CMU jobs.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficient plan reading abilities.
  • Experience with Plan Grid and use of a tablet.
  • Strong mathematical and visual skills.
  • Adept at problem recognition and resolution.
  • OSHA 30 training and safety-first attitude.
  • Good organization and management skills.
  • Able to pass mandatory drug screening and physical fitness test.
  • Willing to learn new methods or pass on safe and proven methods to accomplish tasks.
  • Willing to participate in company training as a part of ongoing growth.
  • Willing to learn, understand and follow company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and implement Cal OSHA and Silverline safety standards and procedures.
  • Comprehend and build from construction documents.
  • Maintain awareness of production rates and budget hours.
  • Push to meet production quotas daily.
  • Lead and direct crew movements and tasks.
  • Manage and request material and equipment needs.
  • Layout wall lines from survey points.
  • Assist Silverline Rebar with proper dowel layout.
  • Ensure rebar installation in CMU is per plan and manage inspection process.
  • Supervise and manage quality control.
  • Complete daily reports and safety inspection documents in a digital format.
  • Stay abreast of RFIs or any plan changes.
  • Submit all shipping tickets for materials received.
  • Get work orders signed off daily when required.
  • Work closely with Silverline Concrete to ensure smooth progressive flow of CMU work.
  • Layout and supervise installation of embedded items and door frames.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $46.00 - $50.00 per hour
