Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

• You will have initial contact with patients entering the department
• You will conduct front office activities such as greeting patients, answering phones in a timely manner and direct patients to correct person
• You will provide excellent customer service
• You will copy insurance information and ID if needed
• You will answer public inquires appropriately
• You will acquire physician order from office or OnBase
• You will demonstrate age appropriate communication
• You will monitor patient’s wait time

What qualifications you will need

• 1 year hospital experience preferred
• Good communication skills
• Strong customer service skills with emphasis on promoting customer service initiative
• Organizational skills
• Multi-task oriented
• Good computer skills
• Accurate typing ability
• Heartsaver CPR certified within 90 days of hire
