Brief Job Description: Provides confidential administrative support and assistance to department staff; composes, formats and word processes a variety of department specific correspondence and documents; carries out various special projects for the department; coordinates departmental schedules, meetings and events; acts as a liaison for the department with internal and external customers; tracks department budgets and is the subject matter expert for budget and business planning programs; processes department travel; assists with department projects; administers departmental programs. Maintains contract files for agency. Backs up Receptionist for breaks and backs up Administrative Clerk with mail run duties on days off. Projects and functions to be performed: Assist Finance Division with preparation of budget reports, quarterly financial reports, publications and budget binder. Route, track & file contracts. Assist with coordination of Fall dept. meeting and party. Travel Coordinator Assist with business planning. Assist with preparation of Finance Committee packets. Update agency org chart. Assist records manager with document retention. Special projects as assigned. Qualifications and experience desired:
