Triangle Fastener Corporation is a fast-growing wholesale distributor that has been serving the construction industry in the US and beyond since 1977. We are currently seeking a full time Human Resource Manager to join us at our corporate office in Pittsburgh, PA. Position Details:

The Human Resource (HR) Manager is responsible for responsible for overseeing all the HR and payroll duties in the organization and delivering best-in-class service to our growing business. 

This position provides supervision to the payroll and human resources team. Requires some occasional travel. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Development and implementation of the Human Resource (HR) Strategy to create embedment of HR into the business.
  • Creation, synergizing and development of the training and development needs of all employees to support succession planning in line with rising stars platform. 
  • Development and increase of employee engagement across the business including internal communication strategy and content.
  • Reviewing and synergizing processes and policies across the divisions in the US in line with current best practice and legal requirements, benchmarked against industry standards. (i.e. recruitment, absenteeism management, on-boarding etc.).
  • Management of the MBO process to develop training budgets and plans per employee. 
  • Provide accurate and regular data with appropriate analysis and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
  • Management of Ad-Hoc high-level HR projects as and when they occur i.e. restructuring.
  • Navigating and advising leadership on complex employee relations issues.
  • Overseeing payroll functions.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED

PREFERRED

Experience

  • 5 years of employee relations experience, navigating complex issues required
  • 3 years of implementing training and development programs required
  • Strong HR functional leadership as well as exemplary capacity to provide HR consultation to business leadership

Education

BS/BA in related educational discipline required such as HR, Psychology, Labor/Employee Relations

Licenses/Certifications

SHRM Certification

Additional Skills/Notes

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
