Job Summary:
Tri City Urology strives to provide exceptional urological treatment utilizing the latest technology and pharmaceuticals. We deliver care in the tri cities and beyond with several satellite locations.

We are looking for a dynamic Medical Assistant to join our team to provide phenomenal service and experience to our patients. This position provides a wide variety of patient care activities including, but not limited to, maintenance of EMR, administering medications, giving injections, and assisting the physician during in office procedures.

Preferred Experience (highly desired but not required)

• Urology
• ModMed or similar EMR's

Essential Functions and Responsibilities Include:

• Maintains patient flow
• interview patient, record results
• Prepares/assists physician with patient exam and/or procedures
• Prepares patient rooms
• Prepares specimens for laboratory
• Administers injections and catheters using sterile technique
• Cleans and restocks patient rooms
• Sterilizes instruments
• Documents patient's charts
• Preforms other tasks and duties as may be added from time to time

Maintenance of skills and knowledge

• Maintains a basic understanding of urology related conditions, diseases and procedures
• Utilizes great communication skills during interactions with patients and co-workers
• Achieves and maintains positive working relationships and rapport with colleagues, physicians, employees, and other health care providers to ensure quality delivery and promotion of health care

Independent Judgement

• Work is preformed in accordance with established procedures and by using independent judgement and discretion. The MA is expected to analyze any patient questions and/or complaints and determine proper course of action to take
