Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Medical Office Receptionist located in Saginaw, MI. The Medical Office Receptionist will be responsible for communicating with patients, verifying patient information, scheduling appointments, greeting and directing visitors, rooming patients, maintaining office inventory and equipment, coordinating referrals, obtaining approval for prior authorizations, and ensuring office hygiene meets medical standards.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Experience with Microsoft Office and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems (EPIC is used)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience working in a medical office or healthcare facility is preferred
