The Clinical Assistant assists the Center by the performance of “floating” job duties. The duties may encompass such areas as reception and medical assisting. Receptionist duties to include greeting patients/visitors at front desk, processing and scheduling patient appointments and providing support with general office work. Clinical Assistant duties include gathering patient information, obtaining vital signs, administration of tests/procedures, record completion and filing. Phlebotomist duties include performing phlebotomy services, preparing and sending specimens to appropriate labs.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Completion of Medical Assisting program degree with evidence of training in clinic procedures and duties.
• CMA or RMA certification. State-test passing is required.
• Minimum of one year experience in a medical setting, preferably in office/clinic setting.
• Must be adaptable to changing work patterns/environments on a regular basis.
