We are seeking a dedicated sales manager to join our growing team. Do you want to work for a global company where you can put your passion for sales management to use? In this role the Sales Manager will be responsible for leading all aspects of key accounts, sales and business development within the North American Building and Construction market and within Architectural facade.

Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts and prospects to support and grow current business, generate new business opportunities, assess market conditions, and evaluate and drive sales strategies.
  • Coordinate development of sales process using CRM based systems and the Trelleborg Sales Excellence program.
  • Ensure sales, customer service, supply chain, product development, manufacturing, process engineering, and quality control are aligned to ensure proper customer-centric account management.
  • Responsible for pricing and margin management
  • Identify strategic opportunities to advise the future growth through new products, markets, and services that align with strategic plan.
  • Develop sales plans that include specific objectives such as key accounts, customer forecasts, and product development opportunities.
  • Record status and results of all sales and new business development pipeline activities and competitive market intelligence in CRM system
  • Analyze and report key sales and marketing results to management on monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Prepare financial plans including sales forecasts and budgets as the need arises
  • Participate in industry related shows, conferences, associations, and technical sessions to maintain an up-to-date understanding of the industry.
  • Territory is in Canada

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum education: BS/BA University degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Business.
  • Preferred five (5) years of experience working in the Building & Construction segment and within Architectural Facade applications.
  • Experience in developing and implementing sales, marketing and operating budgets to support company objectives
  • Must have excellent people leadership skills
  • Experience in using CRM system
  • Must have strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
