Treasure Island Hotel Casino is Hiring an Assistant Housekeeper - Part-Time Near Las Vegas, NV
Specific Job Functions:
Maintain records including repairs needed, lost and found items, and quality of work completed by employees
Inspect rooms to ensure they are up to property standards
Ensure Guest Room Attendants (GRAs) are conforming to the health laws and standards set by the property
Work closely with the Front Desk to ensure guests receive clean rooms in a timely manner
Work with Engineering to ensure maintenance concerns are handled appropriately
Work with scheduling to ensure proper staffing levels
Manage assigned operational functions consistent with the strategic plan and vision for the department, division and property
Manage and monitor fiscal budget and marketing strategies to produce both short-term and long-term profitability for the property
Manage the delivery and measurement of guest service consistent with the properties core service standards and brand attributes
Provide input into research, development, evaluation, and implementation of new products, services, technology, and processes to ensure property’s competitive position and in anticipation of changing customer needs
Manage Human Resources responsibilities including creating a work environment which promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction; quality hiring, training and succession planning processes that encompass the Company’s diversity commitment; compliance with Company policies, legal requirements and collective bargaining agreements
Coordinate turn-down services and other special requests made by VIP Services and VIP guests
Control expenses by voluntary staff reductions when necessary
Instruct employees and new hires on the products used for cleaning in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) chemical Right to Know standards
Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department
Responsibilities/Qualifications
At least two years Housekeeping experience required
Previous experience with Collective Bargaining Agreements
Knowledge of cleaning procedures and OSHA regulations preferred
