**Senior Sales Representative Eastern Area**

We are searching for a driven leader who is a well-versed in developing professional connections with industry partners and clients throughout New England and along the Atlantic coastline.

If you have proven business development experience in identifying marine construction opportunities and building relationships, then we think youd be an excellent fit for our team.

**Senior Sales Representative Responsibilities:**

* Daily coordination and communication with leadership within our Eastern Area operations.

* Daily monitoring of lead websites such as Construct Connect, Sam.Gov, CDC News, etc.

* Developing long-term relationships with owners, engineers, consultants, and other industry partners.

* Investigating strategic partnerships with other contractors.

* Actively and aggressively prospecting new marine infrastructure clients by generating new leads for potential projects.

* Reporting all new contacts and leads to the Director of Business Development Environmental Services, making recommendations as to the path forward.

* Participating and managing our customer relationship management (CRM) system (Microsoft Dynamics 365),

* Working with our marketing, operations, project controls, and business development teams to develop presentations, proposals, and materials for clients and industry partners.

* Participating in industry organizations, tradeshows, and meetings.

* Participating and advocating for and Client Experience Programs.

* Traveling: this position requires a substantial amount of regional travel and may include traveling for the entire workweek during industry events.

**Senior Sales Representative Qualifications:**

*We are looking for a customer-focused individual who is committed to delivering quality solutions and maintaining effective customer relationships.*

* Bachelors degree or equivalent in business, marketing, engineering, or construction management.

* 2-5 years of experience in the business development field.

* 5-10 years of experience in the construction industry.

* Strong technical knowledge of the construction industry (marine construction and/or commercial diving industry preferable).

* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook). Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics preferable but not required.

* Strong public speaking skills.

* Demonstrated revenue, profit, time, and expense management.

* Experience in responding to request for proposals, best value contracts, and negotiated contracting to secure and close deals is a plus.
