Treasure Health Systems is currently in search of a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Coordinator to work within our Adult Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program.
The Rehabilitation Coordinator should have experience and education related to the population with whom they shall work. The employee should have knowledge of the DSM and relevant symptoms of the most common diagnosis within the PRP programs.
The Rehabilitation Coordinator will be able to demonstrate proficiency in assessments, treatment planning, advocacy skills and case management skills.
The employee demonstrates the ability to express themselves well through writing, interpersonal and oral communication skills.
He/She will demonstrate an understanding and sensitivity to serving culturally diverse and/or special needs population while maintaining patient confidentially.
Education and Experience:
- Mental Health Associate with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. (One year to one-year exchange)
- Must have current CPR and First Aid certificate
Language Skills
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the program.
Mathematical Skills:
- Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions
- Ability to deal with standardized situations with occasional variables.
Other Requirements
- Must successfully pass State and FBI background screens
- Proof of a valid driver's license issued in State of Maryland
- Proof of valid automobile liability insurance and
