Summary

The Learning and Development Specialist, Truck Service is responsible for delivering Truck Service Advisor (TSA) and other non-Technical training programs. This indivifual partners with the Manager, Truck Service Learning and Development and Technical Trainers to analyze short and long term strategy to ensure training programs are up to date with current operational policies and procedures. They coordinate the scheduling of technical training classes at the training centers along with coordinating accommodation for each traveler to these classes.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct Non-Technical Instructor Led Classes both in person and virtually.
• Coordinate ASE testing cycles.
• Document processes worked, identify potential improvements, track process issues and partner with leadership to complete root cause analysis to positively affect team member experience
• Prepare and distribute monthly reports to communicate program impact and learner performance
• Develop systematic training courses to build and maintain non-technical truck service skills of truck service team members
• Perform pre- and post training knowledge assessments

Qualifications

• Verifiable experience as a Truck Service Advisor and/or Assistant Profit Center Manager
• Ability to develop instructionally sound content.
• Must be a self-starter, work independently and well within a team environment.
• Flexibility in personal schedule to accommodate live and virtual training events.
• Welcoming communication and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Problem-solving skills and the ability think critically
• Ability to complete tasks with accuracy under time constraints
• Organization and time management skills to manage multiple tasks at once
• Proficient in Office365 software
