Transworld Products, Inc. is Hiring a Human Resources Assistant Near Grandview, MO

Looking for a new career in HR? Come join the Peterson HR team as the new HR Assistant. The H.R. Assistant, under the direction of the H.R. Manager, supports the functions within the HR department. Key measurable objectives of this position include accuracy, meeting timely deadlines, and exhibiting dependability in completing assigned responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Provides clerical and administrative support to Human Resources

· Assists with posting open positions, reviewing candidates, and scheduling interviews

· Assists in communicating various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, and government regulations

· Administers benefit and leave programs

· Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs

· Assists with internal security cards (creation, replacement, and log maintenance)

· Onboarding - Coordinates and assists with new hire onboarding, including creating orientation packets, assisting with Insurance Orientation, etc.

· Tracks training within the HRIS system

· Maintains Attendance Program Point Log

· Assists with monthly billing of voluntary benefits

· Performs general office duties, including distribution of mail for the manufacturing area

· Coordinates Hearing Test, Blood Drive, Flu Shot Campaign

· Coordinates and maintains the sign-up and drawings for Starlight, Chiefs, Royals, and Sporting KC tickets (when available)

· Ensures HR forms are up-to-date and maintains stock on hand

· Other Human Resources responsibilities as necessary

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

· Must have strong written and oral communication skills

· Must have demonstrated initiative and self-motivation

· Must have the ability to work effectively with limited direct supervision or guidance

· Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate good judgement

· Must be able to work independently and within a team

· Must have knowledge of HR principles/functions and related laws/regulations

· Must have strong computer skills (Microsoft Office)

· Must have experience with HRIS systems, Ulti-Pro preferred

· Must have keen attention to detail and organizational skills

· Must be able to multi-task by working on multiple projects at one time

· Posses a positive, cooperative attitude

· Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with associates at all levels

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

· High School education, or equivalent

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred

· Minimum 2 years experience in Human Resources

· Good knowledge of standard office procedures

· Solid experience with Microsoft Office and HRIS software

Pay: $40,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
