**TransCore Amtech Systems, LLC (AMS), a subsidiary of Roper Technologies, Inc, (NYSE:ROP) is seeking a full-time Customer Service Technician to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico.**
**Job Summary:**
The Customer Service Technician will provide technical support to customers, distributors and resellers for full range of RFID products used in the transportation industry.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
* Provide technical support to customers of TransCore RFID products.
* Maintain working technical knowledge of assigned products.
* Work with other departments, such as manufacturing, engineering and product management to provide updates on recurring or systematic problems of products.
* Assist in development and updating of product documentation based on lessons learned from providing technical support.
* Responds to customer inquiries and issues regarding fielded equipment as well as new installations.
* Perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment to replicate issues reported on fielded equipment, in order to develop solutions.
* Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions.
* Occasional travel to provide on-site technical support.
**Required Skills and Experience:**
* A minimum 1 year of related experience or combination of education and relevant experience.
* A minimum 1 year of experience as electronics technician.
* Troubleshooting Systems and Equipment.
* Debugging/Testing Systems and Equipment.
* Knowledge of Electronic Circuits/Schematics.
* Experience with electrical lab test equipment.
* Drivers license with clean driving record.
**Education Requirements:**
* Associate degree in relevant field, such as electronics, electrical engineering, computer engineering or technology.
* Bachelors degree preferred.
* Combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
