TransCore (TRN), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking a full-time Systems Administrator to join our team in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Experience with:
  • Microsoft product experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policies, and IIS
  • Cisco VoIP Services including Cisco Call Manager, Voicemail, and Contact Center
  • Virtual Server experience such as VMWare, Hyper-V, and Citrix
  • Basic knowledge of Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls in a corporate network
  • Configuration and support of Linux operations systems a plus
• Ability to prepare or update documentation, including System Configurations and Procedures
• Hands on technical troubleshooting capabilities
• Ability to research and make recommendations on network products, services, software, etc.

Required Skills: 

• Two years of hands-on Cisco Contact Center and Call Manager configuration and administration experience
• Two years of lead experience with Active Directory and Group Policies
• VMware administration (ESXi, vSphere, vCenter, SRM, Veeam Backup) or Citrix Cloud experience
• Ability to document System Standards, Configurations, Policies, and Procedures
• Prior project experience a plus
• Ability to work independently or in a team as needed for success
• Trouble-shooting and communication skills to effectively communicate with vendors and all levels of system users
• Desire to work on new technology and your technical future

Desired Education & Skills:

• Bachelor/ Associates in Computer Science, or five years of equivalent experience
• Microsoft, VMWare, or Cisco certifications preferred
