Our client has an opening in the San Francisco, CA office for an associate in their Labor & Employment Department. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Qualifications:- Juris Doctorate (JD) required.
- Must be licensed to practice law in the State of California.
- Experience in defending against single plaintiff litigation matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, reasonable accommodation.
- Strong research, writing skills, and academic record.
- Experience drafting and responding to initial pleadings and discovery.
- Experience drafting and arguing motions including dispositive and discovery motions,
- Experience taking and defending deposition including taking plaintiffs deposition and defending deposition of corporate witnesses
- Experience in employment counseling on federal and state employment laws and regulations.
