We are looking for a CNC lead for our second shift. The hours for this shift are M-F 2:00PM - 11:00PM (Mandatory) or 2:00PM - 1:00AM (Optional).
This role requires experience with CNC machines, CNC setup, and inspection. Preferably experience with MAZAK CNC machines or MAZATROL programming language.
The primary function of this role will be adjusting CNC machines after first piece set up is complete or adjusting CNC machines in production if a feature is to be found out of tolerance. You will not be required to do CNC set ups, but you will need to oversee the set ups that are being completed. In order to adjust the machine, you must understand blueprint reading, tooling, fixturing, and simple program editing.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
Related work experience of a minimum of 2 years
Strong Math skills
Communicate and understand work instructions both verbally and written in English
Blueprint reading
Ability to use measuring equipment
Understanding of Mazak horizontal machines
Basic understanding of a ISO quality system
Understanding of cutting tools
Ability to lift 50 LBS. when required
Physical demands (Heavy lifting, balancing, kneeling, crouching)
Ability to work in an un air-conditioned facility
The ability to work in a high noise level environment
The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly
Ability to stand for 8 hours, walk and reach with hands and arms.
Ability to operate iPad / tablet technology
