Key Goals and Vision for this Position:
The General Manager (GM) will serve as our Brand Ambassador both inside and outside the facility. You will be responsible for providing leadership and daily direction to the sales and coaching teams in the facility. Duties include overseeing day-to-day activities, leading staff, driving membership sales, promoting member retention, and providing conflict resolution as needed. The GM will ensure efficient and effective performance to reach financial objectives, foster core values, establish community relationships to promote the brand and drive local market awareness and engagement activities. The GM's main responsibility is to create an environment that motivates and inspires all to be their best and achieve their goals.

Key Skills Required for the Position:

• SALES: You should be able to walk in on day one and close over 50% of the leads you sit down to meet with.
• LEADERSHIP: You should be a first one in, last one out leader. You should be able to hold weekly 1 on 1 meetings, and weekly staff meetings, hold staff accountable, and lead your team to business growth. (Must be a strong and confident leader who can handle the pressure of this big-time role.)
• FINANCE: You need to have the ability to manage the facility P&L. You will meet with ownership monthly to review your budget vs what actually happened, line item by line item.

D1 Training is an athletic-based training facility where we inspire and motivate athletes to reach their goals. We believe in training the entire body as a unit to produce optimal human performance. No gimmicks, no fads; we utilize trusted and proven training techniques used to build the world's best athletes and deliver amazing service through age-appropriate programs led by our expert coaches. We train athletes of all ages; from children to High School athletes to Elite athletes to adults, in Groups, Small Groups, Teams, and 1:1 training sessions.

D1 Training is looking for Teammates who are passionate and energetic about training and influencing the lives of others. We coach a wide variety of young athletes and adult members using training programs provided by D1. We are seeking individuals who are able to install the D1 training principles by properly implementing and teaching training programs and techniques while inspiring and motivating athletes.

In addition to training our members, D1 Coaches have the ability to build a personal training portfolio that can include college and professional athletes. D1 Coaches get to utilize some of the best training facilities in the nation and work for a company that is growing rapidly across the country. D1 has over 100 facilities open and 100 in development.
