Job Overview:
We are seeking 2 highly motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager's to join our team at the Tru & Homewood Suites by Hilton Colorado Springs Airport.
As the Assistant General Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of our establishment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in the food industry and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Duties:
- Assist the General Manager in managing all aspects of the restaurant, including staff, inventory control, and customer service
- Oversee banquet operations and ensure smooth execution of events
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Manage and train staff members, including conducting interviews and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient food preparation and quality control
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Assist in creating and implementing marketing strategies to attract new customers and increase revenue
- Monitor financial performance and assist in budgeting and cost control measures
- Maintain a positive work environment and lead by example
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the food service industry
- Strong knowledge of inventory control procedures
- Excellent team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training staff members
- Knowledge of banquet operations is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
