The central point of contact in the clinic who performs both secretarial and receptionist duties including intake paperwork, scheduling, and phones. The receptionist coordinates patients, nurses, providers, and outside facilities as well as other staff in the clinic. Must be detail-oriented, possess good computer/keyboarding/phone skills. Must be a good communicator capable of multi-tasking. Previous receptionist experience preferred. Upon completion of a satisfactory probationary period, the receptionist may transition into the Assistant Office Manager, overseeing daily administrative functions of the Douglas Clinic. This includes planning, coordinating and directing activities such as staffing and strategic planning with leadership team and dealing with employee questions and concerns.
