Position Summary
The Medical Director of Family Medicine and Pediatrics of Friend Health (FH) will have direct accountability of daily medical delivery of services which includes Primary Care (Family and Internal Medicine) and Pediatrics. This individual will be responsible for organizing, administering, and setting the strategic direction of the department by collaborating with the Chief Medical Officer, other Medical Directors, and leaders throughout the organization. The Family, Internal Medicine, and Pediatric providers will report directly to the Medical Director and will work closely with all Clinical Operations areas.
Education Requirement

Education Requirement
- M.D. or D.O., Board Certified Medicine/Pediatrics preferred; Board Certified Family Medicine with strong pediatric experience will be considered
- License to practice medicine in the State of Illinois.
- Additional advanced degree in business, public health, healthcare administration or related field of study preferred.
- 7 years clinical experience.
- 3 years administrative experience in a clinical setting.
- Experience in a community-based health care setting preferred.
