Maintenance Manager
What you need to be successful:
- Management over a large (25 ) Maintenance team in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with Capital Projects - owning the budget process for projects
- Maintenance on manufacturing Machinery with different types of CNC equipment
- Union experience would be nice - but at least understanding of the environment
- PLC troubleshooting/light programming - this candidate would need to jump in with major PLC issues
- Comfortable with 24-hour manufacturing facility - core hours are first shift M-F
Responsibilities include:
- Be a proactive leader
- Focus on continuing to drive effectiveness of proactive maintenance systems such as computerized maintenance management systems, predictive maintenance, preventative maintenance, and reliability centered maintenance, and storeroom management.
- Assist the plant management team in the development, implementation and general oversight of effective maintenance systems that ensure all manufacturing equipment performs to its maximum capacity at lowest cost.
- Manage maintenance supervision and planning team to ensure efficient prioritization and full utilization of maintenance technicians on a 24/7 basis.
- ESR Prioritization to capex level, participation in capex planning and execution of projects
- Shutdown Planning
