Job Responsibilities:
- Assists management with routine employee relations and/or labor relations as well as performance issues
- Collects and analyzes Human Resources data, and prepares recommendations for management
- Processes paperwork for functional area according to established procedures
- Assists with administration of periodic Human Resources programs
- Understands the business strategies and objectives while applying HR solutions in a proactive manner by aligning the right solutions, ideas, skills and people with the needs of the business
- Develops and maintains programs/procedures, drafting supporting policies
- Participates in planning and implementing quality improvement as well as diversity and inclusion initiatives
- Assists the Manager/Director as requested in review and update of department functions and procedure revisions
- Ensures that organizational processes and relationships are fair and equitable
- Educates management and associates on HR policies, processes and practices to ensure effective execution and compliance
- 3 years of HR experience and at least 1 year of HR generalist experience
- Must have an associates degree; bachelor's degree strongly preferred
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment
- Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required
- PHR or SPHR certification strongly preferred
- Must pass TB screening
- Must pass background check
- Must have COVID vaccine (no booster needed)
- Must pass drug screen
Pay Range: $25-30/hr, depending on experience.
