Job Summary:
Northwest Christian early learning center seeking full-time kindergarten teacher. We serve families in our community with children ages 3 through 6. With our proven curriculum and outstanding teaching staff, we give our students the necessary skills for continued academic, social, emotional, and spiritual success.

The candidate must exhibit a warm, caring nature with good organizational skills, and an enthusiasm for teaching early learners.

Daily Functions:

· Responsible for the safety of all children in the classroom.

· Actively assess student performance and respond to students effectively.

· Communicate directly with parents regarding the academic and social growth of their child.

· Maintain an orderly classroom while providing a loving and nurturing environment.

· Actively engage with all children at all times while serving as a role model through appearance and actions.

· Develop activities to positively impact children’s self-esteem.

· Follow lesson plans as outlined in the Abeka Book Curriculum and implement supportive lesson activities to stimulate extended learning.

· Ability to collaborate with colleagues.

Minimum Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree preferred or associate degree with experience in education.

· Minimum 2 years of classroom experience preferred.

· Strong work ethic, interpersonal skills, and initiative

· Fingerprint clearance card or the ability to obtain.

· CPR/First Aide or the ability to obtain.

Details and compensation:

· We follow Marana School District school calendar with a 7-week summer program.

· Kindergarten hours are from 8:30 – 2:30

· The center is open daily 8:00 – 5:30

· Compensation depending on education and experience.
