In this role, you will perform various HR duties, including managing employee relations, recruiting, conducting new hire orientation, and updating the employee handbook.Major responsibilities- Create employee engagement plans, including budget approvals and management oversite- Develop templates for HR documents, including the Employee Handbook- Conduct employee performance reviews, including assisting with annual reviews, appraising pay scales, and coordinating disciplinary action (including terminations if necessary)- Compare local, state, and federal laws to current internal policies and procedures- Responsible for operations tasks for the HR department- Develop official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary adjustments, updates to the employee handbook, leave of absences, and warning/termination letters- Develop onboarding plans and train newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations- Maintain physical and digital files for employees and their documents, including benefits, attendance records, and annual reviews- Design & /or support a recruitment plan according to operational and business projections- Employee relations, including engaging employees and coordinating sensitive conversations- Work with other members of the HR department to manage the hiring and onboarding process for new company employees- Engage with upper management, employees, and third-party vendors
