A financial services firm located in New York City is actively seeking a new Financial Reporting Associate to join their growing team.
Responsibilities
The Financial Reporting Associate will:
- Prepare and review of the monthly accounting close package from third party administrator
- Prepare and/or review of monthly/quarterly valuations models and inputs
- Prepare and/or review of the monthly/quarterly credit facilities waterfall payment file
- Review administrator deliverables to ensure accurate processing of activity, timely receipt of deliverables, accuracy of NAV reporting and financial statements, and accuracy of investor notices and reporting
- Interact with auditors in all quarterly review and audit coordination and completion as well as for the internal controls assessment
- Liaison with tax and review of the quarterly and annual RIC tests
- Prepare and/or review of all investor reporting as necessary
- Assist in improving efficiency through technology and other special projects as needed
- Compile relevant financial information for investor correspondence
- 3 years of Financial Reporting experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or related field
- Microsoft Office proficient (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Solid analytical, mathematical, and research skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
- CPA certifications
- Background working within a Big 4 firm
- BDCs and/or Private Credit Funds experience
