Robert Half is partnering with a leading financial services company based in New York City seeking a Senior Associate to join our Financial Reporting department. The successful candidate will have strong accounting and reporting expertise, preferably from a public accounting background, and a CPA certification.Job ResponsibilitiesManaging and overseeing the daily financial reporting operations.Coordinating diligent report activities while ensuring compliance with GAAP and other financial regulations.Analyzing financial results, identifying trends, and presenting findings to senior management.Participating in the development and implementation of new financial systems.Preparing technical accounting memos to document complex accounting issues and resolutions.Assisting the internal and external auditors in conducting interim and year-end audits.Ensuring accurate and timely distribution of financial and statistical reports for management and regulatory agencies.Assisting in annual budgets and forecasting process.Continuous evaluation of current policies and procedures and recommendation for process improvements.
