Job Description
We are seeking a dependable, trustworthy team member who is detail driven who will be responsible for processing daily cash receipts and inputting all information into SAP. The Accounts Payable Clerk codes all vendor invoices and processes all payment runs. We need someone who can work with all buyers in the different areas across the organization.
Responsibilities include:
- Handling all accounts payable duties for Shepherd Chemical.
- Reporting key performance indicators for the Accounts Payable group.
- Assisting with opening and distributing the daily mail to accounting.
Education/Experience
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of accounts payable and general ledger functions.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of computers and an ability to work creatively with them.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload to ensure deadlines are met.
- Ability to type accurately; ability to use office equipment.
- Strong verbal and interpersonal skills.
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite
- Familiarity with SAP software
- Experience in an Accounts Payable role
