Job Title: Service Desk Engineer

Reports to: Chief Information Officer

The IT Intern will support our IT department in providing technical assistance, maintaining computer systems, and configuring hardware and software. The successful candidate will be able to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, assist with the implementation of new technologies, and provide training and support to team members.

Key Responsibilities

Duties:

  • Provide technical assistance to staff and customers on software-related issues.
  • Setup, configure and troubleshoot computer systems, hardware, and software.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any basic issues.
  • Provide training and support to team members in the use of computer systems and software.
  • Research and recommend solutions for technical problems.
  • Enter the necessary information into Ticketing and PSA software.
  • Help manage IT Inventory.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Provide general IT support as needed.
  • Other projects as requested.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years in the information technology industry.
  • Knowledge of computer systems and software.
  • Knowledge of network and system security.
  • Familiarity with hardware and software installation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to learn quickly and adapt to changing technology.
