About The Hotel
Mining Exchange Hotel & Spa was built in 1902 as a stock exchange for local mining companies, The Mining Exchange Hotel & Spa offers a one-of-a-kind experience in the heart of downtown Colorado Springs. Our elegant, yet casual public spaces and guestrooms are all newly renovated.
Job Role
Responsible for performing close-of-day scenarios for the hotel Guest Service area and accounting for daily activity by organizing and verifying information; identifying and correcting discrepancies; posting accounts; and running and distributing daily reports.
Responsibilities:
Compensation: $17.00 Hourly
Requirements
Education: High school diploma or equivalent experience. College degree preferred.
Experience: Six to twelve months of employment in a related position or office setting with this company or other organizations. Accounting or hospitality experience is a bonus.
Skills and Abilities: Requires having excellent computer and cash handling skills, ability to stand for extended periods of time; presents a sociable, outgoing, lively, and guest service-oriented demeanor. Ability to adapt to changing guest needs. Working knowledge is generally learned on the job. Good judgment and ability to resolve conflicts effectively. Communicate information and hotel services to management, staff, and guests.
