POSITION SUMMARY

The primary responsibility of this position is to serve as the agency contact for clients and prospective clients for the McClone Private Client division, driving growth through new sales and retention. The Client Advocate is responsible for fostering both deep and broad relationships with clients, carrier partners, McClone Risk Advisors and Business Development team members. This position also oversees the renewal of the Private Client personal insurance policies and client account maintenance with the goal being to obtain, retain, and round client accounts when exposure is identified. This is achieved through consultative, value-based selling and providing services which support our company’s core purpose.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and carrier partners.
• Execute Executive Lunch & Learns for current Commercial and Employee Benefits clients.
• Build and retain a book of Private Client personal lines clients.
• Efficient and accurate handling of service requests by phone and email; including requests for information, technical questions, and inquiries regarding account coverage, products, risk management resources, and billing; delegating as appropriate.
• Collaborate with prospects to determine insurance and risk management needs and guide them through the McClone sales process.
• Maintain relationships and knowledge of existing accounts and coverages to retain current clients.
• Develop and maintain relationships with the Risk Advisors, Business Development, and others throughout the organization.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
• Solid understanding of the agency management system, carrier websites, products, and coverages

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, preferred
• Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales or service experience in the insurance industry, preferred
• Computer Skills
  • Microsoft Office Applications
• Accreditation
  • Property & Casualty WI insurance license required within 60 days of employment and maintained throughout the course of employment.
