The Home Depot is Hiring a Remote Analyst, Marketing Operations

Position Purpose:

The Analyst, Marketing Operations is responsible for supporting the execution of digital marketing solutions in close collaboration with marketing partners in collaboration with various business teams to meet their strategic and tactical goals. This role executes digital marketing campaign design, quality assurance, and delivery preparation through Message Gears, SmartSheets, and Movable Ink. The position will be held accountable for the planning and management of projects and will serve as a supportive role in the outbound direct marketing function for the team including handling selections, campaign delivery, and post campaign analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 20% Capture marketing campaign requirements through close collaboration with marketing partners
  • 40% Provide marketing support, including set-up of campaigns in Unica, for small to medium size campaigns
  • 40% Design, test and execute campaigns using product- and activity-based purchase triggers, segment and personalization rules to support business goals

Direct Manager/Direct Reports:

  • Position reports to Audience Activation Manager
  • No direct reports

Travel Requirements:

  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements:

  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Working Conditions:

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree
  • Excellent project management and executive communication skills
  • Strong Digital Marketing and Data Analysis Skills
  • Strong background in SQL and Relational Databases
  • Experience with multiple digital marketing platforms including DMP/DSPs, email service providers, personalization and content management tools, and channel activation platforms
  • Ability and willingness to operate in a highly cross-functional environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work well with others

Minimum Education:

  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a associate's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

  • No additional years of experience

Competencies:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate analytical information in clear, concise presentations
  • Experienced in CRM execution and management, preferably in a retail context
  • Experienced in the application of segmentation and predictive modeling
  • Strong analytical skills
  • skilled in utilizing Unica and other CRM software
  • Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, Access
