Role Purpose

To drive marketing spend efficiency globally through the planning, implementation and governance of annual marketing spend. Leveraging company best practices, systems and tools to ensure governance of financial, procurement and reporting processes and regulations. Ensure program marketing initiatives support overall multi-brand and relationship marketing vision, objectives and goals while remaining competitive in the industry, agency and media landscape.

Key Accountabilities

  • Overall annual marketing spend tracking, reporting, execution, delivery and senior leadership communications.
  • Optimize spend mix and return through traditional and non-traditional communication vehicles, leveraging business intelligence reporting and analysis to implement investment recommendations.
  • Evaluate pro-forma and post program/campaign financial analyses, including incremental impact and return on investment, to incorporate findings into future investment allocations.
  • Facilitate planning conversations with cross-functional stakeholders and SMEs to align on and set program/campaign objectives, ensuring proper governance, performance monitoring and progress readouts to Director at defined intervals (and other senior leadership as needed)
  • Manage internal/external agency and partner relationships to ensure clear communications in the process while building strong, trusting relationships across the organization to support overall team objectives, ensure appropriate involvement from key stakeholders and promote effective socialization and exposure of campaigns.

Key Skills & Experiences

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.

Experience

  • Eight or more years of progressive work related to business analysis, financial analysis, and more analytical mindset
  • Manager role and having higher level stakeholders

Technical Skills & Knowledge

  • Familiarity with marketing spend tracking techniques and systems
  • Experience with test-and-learn scenarios and planning matrices, execution on and offline channels.
  • Experience with campaign management and financial management tools (Adobe Workfront, Decideware Scope Manager, Smartsheet, Ariba and Peoplesoft)
  • Understand iing Ariba and PeopleSoft
  • Firm grasp of relational database concepts. 3rd party tools Adobe Workfront and Scope Manager approvals and DOA's
  • Ability to direct budget planning process(es) to build compelling business cases and spend requests
  • Experience in handling sensitive consumer data such as financial records a plus.
  • Experience with identifying marketing opportunities utilizing third party information.
  • Ability to translate observations into finding and business applications.
  • Extremely detail-oriented, highly organized with excellent time management skills and a technical aptitude.
  • Team player with a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills and a focus on problem solving.
  • Excel Pivot tables 6/7 out of ten, not advanced modeling, reporting, tables task,
