Financial Analyst

Our Accounting & Finance Staffing team is currently looking to speak with candidates who would be a good fit for roles with the specifications below:
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and complete monthly billings to ensure accuracy
  • Assist with preparation of monthly financial reporting package, year-end audit, and other regulatory reporting
  • Support implementation and ongoing compliance with accounting system, accounting department policies and procedures, cost allocation methodology, payroll and time keeping systems
  • Maintain program budgets and forecasts in the general ledger system
  • Work alongside team members on annual agency budgeting process and regular re-forecasting updates
  • Ensure compliance with appropriate GAAP and regulations
  • Maintain alignment of expenditures with grant and program budgets throughout the grant/fund period
  • Ensure all entries are booked in a timely manner to adhere to schedules and deadlines
  • Perform account reconciliations and analysis as required
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • Solid understanding of accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll
  • Experience in grants management and revenue recognition
  • Knowledge of GAAP and government cost regulations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
  • Familiarity with nonprofit fund accounting systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
