What You’ll Do
Regular achievement of monthly room revenue booking goals as assigned by Director of Sales & Events, handling group blocks of 10 rooms or more on peak nights
Strong understanding of overall market (both local and national), destination, and competition with a focus on positioning The Global Ambassador as a top luxury brand
Merchandise function and unique restaurant venue spacewhile obtainingappropriate room rental and food and beverage minimums in-line with property revenue targets
Proactively solicit accounts within assigned market segment(s)
Proactively identifies new market opportunities while developing and executing strategic sales plans
Achieve room night, average rate, and guest room revenue goalson a quarterly and yearlybasis
Maintain client files and current trace dates, accurate history, and all relevant booking activity
Foster strong relationships with clients and local industry partners to e achieve top line revenue
Develops and manages relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external
Qualifications
At least 3 years of full-Service hotel/resort sales experiencerequiredwith boutique-lifestyle brand luxury segment preferred
Pre-existing business-industry relationships that would be appropriate target accounts for The Global Ambassador brand
Proven record of meeting or exceeding goals.
Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Opera
Ability to articulateThe Global Ambassador’s unique characteristicsand luxurious amenities (in both written and verbal formats)to prospective clients in a friendly and gracious manner
Ability to identify and growgroup accounts with a
Candidate to be located locally in the greater Phoenix-Scottsdale market, this is an onsite based position
College Degree – 4 years or equivalent experience
Occasion travel required**
