Furniture Sales: Sarasota, FL - Ellenton, FL - Bradenton, FL - Venice, FL - Port Charlotte, FL

The Furniture Warehouse has 6 store locations along Florida's Gulf Coast, and our corporate headquarters is located in Sarasota, FL. Our 20,000 sq. ft. showrooms always offer great pricing, and our advertising can be seen across many avenues, including TV, newspapers, direct mail, and social media. The Furniture Warehouse was recently named Sarasota's Readers Choice Winner by the Community.

We are currently recruiting highly motivated, super high energy, go getter individuals to apply for our Assistant Manager position. Our store management team is responsible for both personal sales as well as the sales performance of the entire sales team. If you have hospitality, customer service or any type of sales experience, we want to talk to you. Primary Responsibilities

  • Train and develop sales associates on product knowledge, selling techniques, and customer service
  • Work with sales team to maximize sales and profitability
  • Attain both personal and store goals in sales volume and related revenue metrics
  • Management coverage of the store location, including opening and close of the store
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge about furniture products
  • Ensures customers are serviced at the highest level of satisfaction through quality service/products, courteous employees and quick response to needs
  • Analyze and process customer orders accurately
  • Provide outstanding customer services before and after the sale
  • Ensure that furniture is delivered to customers in a timely manner
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years in sales management or assistant store management in a furniture retail setting
  • Demonstrated success of past commission sales, preferably in furniture
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish helpful
  • Ability to lead, motivate and manage a team
  • Ability to move furniture for product demonstration
  • All applicants are subject to background checks
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends

Compensation

  • Ranges from $60,000-$90,000 per year through a combination of salary and commission, bonus and spiffs ($250/week salary)
  • $500/week Guarantee Pay
  • Aggressive commission schedules with unlimited
