Job Summary:
As an Assistant Sales Manager, you will help our Sales Manager steer and manage the sales operation of new and pre-owned powersports products. You will also assist the business office operational activities related to providing finance, insurance, and extended service programs. Your primary responsibility will be to produce acceptable levels of revenue and profits for the dealership by selling major units, finance, insurance, and extended service programs to new and used powersports customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide and develop our sales team by using your leadership skills and sales expertise
- Motivate our team to meet and exceed sales goals using open communication
- Develop our sales team by using your leadership skills to offer new and different sales techniques
- Communicate openly and consistently with our sales team and assess their needs
- Track customer traffic peaks to provide consistent sales floor coverage for optimal customer service
- Be a visible leader to customers, service-driven, and confident in our sales team to provide a world-class customer experience
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Assistant Sales Manager or similar role
- Excellent leadership and sales skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with all departments, with an emphasis on the Sales Department and Finance Department
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to motivate and develop a sales team
- Knowledge of finance, insurance, and extended service programs
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Passion for powersports
