The Eye Center, Doctors of Optometry, PA is Hiring an Assistant Office Manager Near Raleigh, NC

Looking for an energetic and bright Assistant Office Manager to oversee all aspects of daily operations in our Raleigh Optometry Office. Medical office management experience preferred.

-2 years of management experience

-5 year of customer service experience

Job Requirements:

-Must get cross trained in both front desk and back technician positions

-Schedule appointments

-Answer multiple phone lines

-Greet patients

-Conduct preliminary testing

-Manage patient flow

-Gathering patient medical history

-Contact lens training for patients

-Verifying insurance and billing patients correctly

-Providing direction and holding technicians accountable

-Upholding all basic rules and policies

-Maintaining a positive morale in office

-Overseeing all daily task completion

-Assist in scheduling and finding coverage for call outs

-Once trained assist in all training of new hires, monitor best practices and lead by example

-Focus on customer satisfaction and handle any patient issues that may arise

-Monitor reviews and patients retention - find ways to improve them

-Oversee contact lens orders - make sure they are being completed in a timely manner and work with staff on ways to increase total office sales

-Assist office manager with any tasks they may need

We are open 7 days a week Mon to Sat between 9:00 to 6:00 and Sun 12:00 to 5:00. We will need someone that is available to work all hours listed and some weekends. This position will start as a full time hourly position after a 90-day probationary period wage will be rediscussed and potential salary. At that time medical and dental insurance will be offered and paid vacation time will start to build.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
