The Core Institute is Hiring a Director of Communications Near Phoenix, AZ

Healthcare Outcomes Performance Company is a vertically integrated musculoskeletal outcomes management company. HOPCo manages orthopedic and spine physician practices, hospital service lines, population health and value-based care programs, and musculoskeletal delivery networks.

As HOPCo continues to grow, we are looking for a Director of Communications in our Corporate Headquarters. Please see below for the functions and requirements for this position. 

The Director of Communications will oversee and guide the strategy for all communications, website, brand management, public relations messages and collateral to consistently articulate the mission of HOPCo and its musculoskeletal practice partners. The Director of Communications will work closely with a senior peer group within the organization as the communications partner on various strategic initiatives. This position will require a strong set of written and verbal skills as well as problem-solving capabilities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Establish and drive a multi-channel communications strategy
  • Prepare and manage all internal and external communications material
  • Develop a brand voice and maintain brand integrity across all platforms
  • Manage media relations
  • Develop contacts with media members, influencers and community leaders
  • Lead a team of marketing and design professionals
  • Oversee the creation of digital, video, audio and print content
  • Ensure all internal and external content has consistent branding and messaging
  • Conducting quality control on all communications
  • Analyze campaigns and communications efforts to make data‐informed decisions concerning effectiveness and areas for improvement

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in public relations and media
  • Experience in managing brand voice
  • Experience managing relationships with external partners
  • Experience in social media platforms
  • Experience in healthcare preferred but not required

REQUIREMENTS

  • The job holder must demonstrate current competencies for job position
  • 5 years of experience in the field or related area. Must be able to communicate effectively with physicians, patients, employees, and the public and be capable of establishing good working relationships with both internal and external partners.
