Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate vein physician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vascular medicine and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. As a vein physician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of venous disorders, including varicose veins, spider veins, peripheral vascular disease, thrombosis and venous insufficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient consultations to assess venous health and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Perform diagnostic procedures such as venous ultrasound to evaluate venous function and identify abnormalities.
• Practice Interventional Radiology with proficiency in performing office-based venous interventions.
• Provide work-up and treatment for patients with presumed or documented peripheral vascular disease
• Collaborate with vein APP in outpatient setting.
• Interpret results of peripheral Ultrasounds
• Develop procedural plans of care based on Ultrasound results
• Create and maintain patient electronic medical record (EMR)
• Partner with orthopaedic, rheumatologic and other integrated partners within the practice to form a collaborative team approach to care

Qualifications:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in vascular medicine or a related specialty.
• Valid medical license in the state of practice.
• Fellowship training in vascular medicine preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and treating venous disorders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Experience with office-based venous procedures
