The communications director provides direction, planning and execution in support of Honeywell’s global internal communications strategies, which includes ownership of Mechanical Systems and Components and Engines and Power Systems. The position will also be responsible for helping support Aero and Corporate level campaigns and communications.

Based at the Sky Harbor location in Phoenix, AZ, this position reports to the Sr. Director of Communications and will interact regularly with other communications team members supporting Aero-wide and regional communications.

Key Responsibilities

·Identify, develop and implement holistic and cross discipline communications plans across the two SBUs

·Engage across the Aerospace Global Communications organization to facilitate and ensure execution of SBU priorities and communications deliverables, whether those be executive communications or regional activities as needed to support the business.

·Drive extensive executive, organizational and change management communications

·Active role in driving initiatives and growth campaigns across the entire Aerospace organization and Corporate as needed.

·Coordinate and facilitate budget and vendor relationships and project teams as appropriate.

·Participate in the development of communications plans that meet business objectives and priorities

·Develop written materials (executive messages & presentations, announcements, newsletter articles, etc.)

·Plan and execute internal events, such as quarterly town halls, executive site visits, employee recognition activities and employee briefings

·Develop content and update web, video and online social collaboration tools as well as identify new or expand use of existing tools

·Engage with Honeywell Aerospace business units, key leaders, and support functions as necessary
