DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Project Advisor plays a key role in the long-term success of The Big Fish Contracting Co. Responsibilities include: Managing leads, meeting predetermined sales goals, qualifying/disqualifying customers based on scope of work, creating estimates, managing contracts, assisting customers with insurance claims, and being knowledgeable about brand products. Additionally, the Project Advisor is a brand ambassador, protecting the company’s reputation with customers and vendors, as well as current and future employees.

  • Meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals, as designated by the Sales Leader
  • Meet weekly, monthly, and annual proposal dollar goals, as designated by the Sales Leader
  • Self-Generate leads through networking, individual brand building, neighborhood canvassing, and social media marketing
  • Follow-up on assigned leads & qualify customers based on scope of work
  • Attend scheduled inspections with existing and prospective customers as set
  • Document customer needs with photos/video during inspection
  • Create estimates that meet customer needs by identifying their priorities
  • Create & submit signed contracts to office
  • Assist & guide customers through insurance claims process
  • Assist & guide customers through optional financing programs
  • Be knowledgeable of and inform customers about product upgrades & advanced protection packages.
  • Learn & utilize several different software platforms efficiently
  • Attend company meetings, training & development workshops, and team-building events

REPORTING

  1. Report directly to the Sales Director
  2. Attend weekly Department meetings for updates on Scorecards, Rocks, To-Dos, and IDS (Identify, Discuss, Solve) current issues surrounding the sales department
