Our law firm is seeking an organized, self-starter to join our team as a legal case manager and work alongside attorneys to achieve our clients’ goals. We need someone who is an effective communicator, incredibly organized, and self-motivated. • Support attorneys with all aspects of case management, including billing, docketing deadlines, and providing reminders as needed
• Conduct legal research to obtain documentation regarding health insurance, social security, medical records, and medical providers
• Collaborate with outside vendors, staff, and attorneys, to manage the law firm’s case load, present case summaries/updates, and ensure that deadlines are met
• Examine legal documents to assure all legal requirements have been met
• Manage, update, and organize all case files and information with regard to engagement, whether electronic or paper, in accordance with firm policies
• Update clients and outside counsel on case status as requested
• Draw up legal documents for attorney review

• Drafting demand letters

• Legal research and legal document drafting experience is critical
• Effective organizational and communication skills, both written and oral, are needed
• Professional case management process experience is needed - preferably as a personal injury case manager, or related jobs such as legal assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal, at a non-profit, law firm, or human services agency
• Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet presentation, and case management software
• Ability to multitask and stay self-motivated
