Job Title: Vice President of Channel Sales

Salary: $100-$120k base plus commissions and bonus. OTE: $300K

Job Summary: As the Vice President of Channel Sales, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our channel sales strategy, including the development, implementation, and management of programs to drive revenue growth through acquisition of new MSP members. You will work closely with the SVP of Sales, external partners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a proven track record of success in channel sales management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive channel sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize market penetration.
  • Channel Partner Management: Identify, recruit, onboard, and manage channel partners to expand market reach and drive sales growth.
  • Attend Trade Shows & Industry Events: Develop show strategy and goals for each show, as well as travel and attend all major shows and events sponsored by The 20.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with channel partners, providing them with the support, resources, and incentives necessary to drive sales success.
  • Training and Enablement: Develop training programs and materials to educate channel partners on product offerings, sales techniques, and market positioning.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs and metrics to track channel sales performance, regularly analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Forecasting and Planning: Collaborate with the executive leadership team to forecast channel sales revenue, pipeline, and resource allocation.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments, leveraging insights to refine channel sales strategies and tactics.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, CX, service delivery, and other departments to ensure alignment and integration of channel sales initiatives with overall business objectives.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing channel sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in channel sales management, with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and influence cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to drive initiatives from conception to execution.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and ideas effectively.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, analyze trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience working in the technology and MSP channel, preferably with knowledge of software-as-a-service (SaaS) or other subscription-based business models.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability & willingness to travel as needed.
