Texas Children's Hospital is Hiring a Compensation Consultant Near Houston, TX

Job Summary

We are searching for a Physician Compensation Consultant -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will plan, implement, and assist in the management of the compensation administration for the Texas Children's for staff and/or physicians.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains compliance with Texas Children’s policies and procedures, Joint Commission guidelines, and Federal regulations related to compensation
  • Maintains and analyzes data for Texas Children’s compensation programs and policies
  • Performs job evaluation activities and prepares, researches and finalizes information for the compensation approval process
  • Administers the salary system and merit review process for individuals
  • Coordinates Texas Children’s salary survey participation
  • Participates actively on teams and/or committees

Qualifications

  • Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including any booster dose(s) of the COVID-19 vaccine recommended by the Centers for Disease Control when eligible, is required for all employees at Texas Children’s unless approved for a medical or religious exemption
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Required 6 months of Human resources, business, finance, analyst, or healthcare operations experience with preferred experience with PeopleSoft, MarketPay, JDXpert, Kronos
  • Advanced Excel & Powerpoint experience highly preferred
  • Data Analytic exprience - nice to have
